European Solidarity Corps
What is it?
European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is a programme supported by European Union that offers young people the opportunity to volunteer abroad and work on projects that benefit communities and people all over Europe.
ESC is aimed at young people from 18 to 30 years old who like to learn practically and are not afraid to travel abroad.
What activities can you do in an ESC project?
Environmental projects
Artistic projects
Working with media
Working with children and youth
Working with people with disabilities
And many others
Financial costs
Volunteers do not pay any fees. Food, accommodation, insurance, pocket money, travel costs, and a language course are all paid for by the ESC grant.
Short-term project: from 2 weeks up to 2 months
Long-term project: from 2 to 12 months
It is possible to attend a short-term project, followed by a long-term project up to 14 months in total. (In reverse order, a long-term project followed by a short-term project is not possible.)

INEX Slovakia is accredited to send volunteers abroad and to host volunteers on European Solidarity Corps projects.
