Berra in Slovakia: Chapter 4

The time had finally come to present my workshop! My topic is impostor syndrome and emotional resilience. I tried to improve it as much as possible based on the feedback I got, and in the end, it turned out really well. I had 12 participants and all of them said they loved it and learned new things. I was so, so happy.

Right after the presentation, I went to Palermo with my girls. Since I usually spend four months of the summer swimming back in Turkey, I didn’t want to miss out on the sea this year. Honestly, the water wasn’t that clean, but Palermo was still a very fun place. I had a blast there; the people really know how to have a good time, and I made some sweet memories.

Our promotion meetings with Mirka are still going strong. I’ve been trying to brainstorm some ideas for YouTube, and right now, I’m actually filming a vlog! Vlogging is honestly so hard, but it’s also super fun. Once it’s all finished, you can watch it on our YouTube channel.
We also had the Santiago tea meeting, and I watched the presentation in absolute awe. The speaker – Magdalena was talking about how many kilometers they walked to become a pilgrim and the adventures they had on the road. Walking 300km takes some serious dedication honestly, I could never do it. Even walking 1km feels like a chore to me. I love watching these tea meetings because it’s amazing to hear about people’s adventures and learn things about other countries that barely anyone knows.

We threw a really cute barbecue party with the office crew. Madelyn, Vaso, and I started dancing. Back in my normal life, I wasn’t really someone who liked dancing, but coming to Bratislava unlocked something in me I actually started salsa and bachata 🙂 Barbara and Katka joined us while we were dancing at the BBQ, too. It was such a great day.

We had a workcamp meeting with Barbara and Monika, since the workcamp is getting pretty close. They gave us some really important info and reminders about what we need to do before we go.
Then I had a Youthpass meeting with Barbara. She talked to us about what Youthpass is and how to write it, so we’re going to start working on that next.
And after all that, I went to Germany for The Weeknd concert, and it was just… incredible. I absolutely loved it. I feel so lucky that I got to see him live one last time under “The Weeknd” concept.

Thank you for the support
