A fun-filled afternoon for children and adults alike has become a cherished tradition held every year on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. Organized by Rodinné Centrum Prešporkovo and the Union of Mother Centers, this event is the largest celebration of Mother’s Day in Slovakia.
One of the event’s highlights is a symbolic one-mile walk (1.6 km) dedicated to mothers. Everyone is welcome to join — on foot, with a stroller, or even with a little one riding on your shoulders.

In 2025, Mile for Mom will be held for the 22nd time, across 38 cities and towns in Slovakia. Through this event, we pay tribute to all women who became mothers and lovingly embraced this life-changing role.
