Would you like to discover the beauty of Japanese culture and everyday life?
Katarina, our Slovak volunteer will share her personal experience from living and volunteering in Japan, where she experienced the beauty of the people, nature, and traditional lifestyle. Together with a local Japanese family, she helped restore an old traditional village using authentic methods. The experience gave her the opportunity to learn more about Japanese culture, teamwork, and life in harmony with nature.
She will answer to the questions as:
- What activities did she do while helping in the village?
- Which countries were represented in the volunteer group?
- What made the food experience in Japan special?
Moreover a Japanese girl Mizuki will present Japanese culture from a local point of view.
She is ready to introduce the unique charm of Japan by talking about everyday lifestyle, cultural traditions, local customs, and famous attractions. You will be able to learn more about how Japanese people live, communicate. She will also share interesting insights about Japanese hospitality, food culture, beautiful natural places, and popular destinations that make Japan such a fascinating and unforgettable country to visit.
We will have a little tasting Japanese cuisine so we can enjoy together. The evening also includes the opportunity to experience traditional Japanese activities such as Origami and Fukuwarai.
