Travelling abroad can bring feelings of excitement but also respect. You can get started with travel on shorter volunteering activities such as 1-2 week international volunteering workcamps in Slovakia. For long-term volunteering in Slovakia, there is the EU’s European Solidarity Corps programme at INEX, which last 11 months. This also has a shorter 1-2 week form – Volunteering Teams. Volunteering abroad will increase your self-confidence, independence, give you new experiences, friends, improve foreign language skills and a sense of fulfilment.
And that’s already worth it.
