This month was the month of the workcamps for my colleagues but not for me. But it was the same nice.
After few days from the beginning of this new month here in Slovakia, I went with my mentor Matus, Evelina and her mentor to a ferrata.
We left our flat very early and after a short break to have breakfast, we arrived.
Unfortunately, I am not too used to eat breakfast and it was a very big problem when we started our activity during the morning there because I started to feeling not the best. I had to sit down because I had vertigo headache, caused by the fact that I didn’t eat nothing for breakfast.
After some minutes, I started to be better and I ate a banana. Thanks to that, I had some energy and I could restart doing ferrata with them.
The most beautiful thing was the view from there.
I think images speak for themselves.
During the afternoon, we went to a small village named Kremnica and there, we saw a free museum with a lot of paintings. It was incredible! It reminded me a lot a place that I saw when I was in Paris, named 59 Rivoli. If you are going to Paris, you cannot miss this place.
At the end, in the late afternoon, we went in a lake for enjoying the time there and after taking an ice cream, we came back to BA.
After some days I received a message from Angelina, a Russian volunteer that we (me, Evelina and Anais) met in April. She was super funny and lovely from the beginning and we became friends immediately. She was with her friend of her named Vlada, in BA because they came here for visiting us and the city. Her friend could speak also Italian! And actually, she is very good at speaking it!
So, we met them in the main station of trains and we started to show them the main attractions of the city and after a while, was lunch time. So, we went in a restaurant to eat and after, we finished to do the tour and we came back to sit in the station playing some cards games because the weather was super-hot for everyone.
I really liked this day because I felt like I knew them since many years!
On August we will see each other for the second part of the training and I am very happy to see her again 😊 and I hope to see Vlada too soon!
Three days in Bucarest
In the last part of the month, I went with my sister to Bucarest because I really wanted to see a new city. She never been to Slovakia but I recommended her to visit me on December, because Christmas markets will come and I would like to visit them with her (and show her the city too). Btw, we arrived there from different airports, but at the end we managed to see each other there.
The first day, on Saturday, we spent the day visiting all the attractions from outside.
The second day, on Sunday, we went to see two castles (Peleș, my fav, and Bran, nice but not as the previous one) and a small city named Brașov. We met our group at 7.40 in the morning and we arrived back to Bucarest at 11 pm. We were so tired!
For relaxing a little bit, we went to the therme (the biggest in Europe) on Monday, for 4.5 hours.
I loved the atmosphere, the places, the food, the people, and of course, the company. I recommend to each of you to go there if you already never been there! 😊
