One-day volunteering activities

We organise these activities for the duration of a single morning or a full day, mostly in Bratislava.

Volunteering activities are varied: preparing a program for St. Nicholas‘ Day, International Children’s Day, helping out with interior or exterior maintenance of the centres (e.g. pruning trees, mowing grass, painting fences, cleaning playing items and toys, and others).

For example, at the Haanova Kindergarten, Lachova Primary School, Prešporkovo Family Centre, DSS Integra (where our friends with disabilities are) in Bratislava and if you have an idea for more, write to us.

Get involved and spend your day in a meaningful way. Fun with funny people from the office is guaranteed 🙂

Corporate volunteering

We organize one-day volunteering activities for companies in Bratislava. E.g. a trip with friends with disabilities from DSS Integra, landscaping the garden at Haanova Kindergarten, painting the fence at Lachova Elementary School, trimming bushes, picking up trash, etc.
Activities are tailored to the company. We have 31 years of experience in organizing volunteering activities.

Upcoming One-day volunteering activities

Tea Meeting: Boxes of love for seniors (26.11.2025 17:00 - 20:00)

Christmas is coming, and together with RC Prešporkovo, we would like to invite you to a tea meeting dedicated to spreading joy to seniors in social facilities or those who live alone.

Through this activity, we are participating in the initiative How Much Love Can Fit in a Shoe Box?®, which is organized annually by the civic association Koľko lásky o.z. (How Much Love), and this year we are once again official partners of the campaign.

The aim of the initiative is to bring joy to lonely seniors in Slovakia with unexpected Christmas gifts.
Together, we will pack and fill shoeboxes with little things that will warm the hearts of seniors and, we believe, bring smiles to their faces.

When: November 26, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

What to bring – 1 item from each category (please bring unopened, clean items that are not past their expiration date):
💚something sweet (cookies, gingerbread, sage candies, grape sugar, DIA cookies, DIA chocolate, filled croissants, baby food, boxed juice, butter cookies, soft dried fruit, children’s drinks with a “spout” for drinking)
💚something salty (salty cookies, pretzels, corn crisps, crackers)
💚something fragrant (shower gel, shampoo, liquid soap, wet wipes, body lotion, spray, hand cream, foot cream, face cream, lip balm, toothpaste, denture tablets, toilet water, perfume)

For a small contribution, we will provide: boxes, wrapping paper, something warm, something soft, something fun, and something from the heart – we will have postcards ready that you can color and write a nice message to grandmother or grandfather.

We will then hand over the boxes to our contact person.

🍪 Coffee, tea, cookies, and good atmosphere will also be provided.

So come on by, we’ll be here from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and we’re sure to find a time that works for everyone.
