I am a foreigner in Slovakia and want to volunteer

We all have limited time to volunteer. Fortunately, we have different types of volunteering activities in Slovakia. You can help for a few hours at one-day volunteering activities in Bratislava by painting a fence in a kindergarten, or planting trees... Over the weekend you can help in a weekend workcamp. Or during 1-2 weeks at an international volunteering workcamp together with foreign volunteers repairing Slovak castles, preparing a program for people with disabilities and more.

We'll leave the choice up to you : )

I am abroad and want to volunteer in Slovakia

Travelling abroad can bring feelings of excitement but also respect. You can get started with travel on shorter volunteering activities such as 1-2 week international volunteering workcamps in Slovakia. For long-term volunteering in Slovakia, there is the EU's European Solidarity Corps programme at INEX, which last 11 months. This also has a shorter 1-2 week form - Volunteering Teams. Volunteering abroad will increase your self-confidence, independence, give you new experiences, friends, improve foreign language skills and a sense of fulfilment.

And that's already worth it.
