One-day volunteering activities

We organise these activities for the duration of a single morning or a full day, mostly in Bratislava.

Volunteering activities are varied: preparing a program for St. Nicholas‘ Day, International Children’s Day, helping out with interior or exterior maintenance of the centres (e.g. pruning trees, mowing grass, painting fences, cleaning playing items and toys, and others).

For example, at the Haanova Kindergarten, Lachova Primary School, Prešporkovo Family Centre, DSS Integra (where our friends with disabilities are) in Bratislava and if you have an idea for more, write to us.

Get involved and spend your day in a meaningful way. Fun with funny people from the office is guaranteed 🙂

 

Corporate volunteering

We organize one-day volunteering activities for companies in Bratislava. E.g. a trip with friends with disabilities from DSS Integra, landscaping the garden at Haanova Kindergarten, painting the fence at Lachova Elementary School, trimming bushes, picking up trash, etc.
Activities are tailored to the company. We have 31 years of experience in organizing volunteering activities.

  • How much love can we fit in a shoebox? 19.11.2024 17:00 - 20:00

    Christmas time is coming and we and Family Centre Presporkovo want to invite you to a tea meeting dedicated to giving joy to seniors from social centres or those who live alone.

    With this activity, we participate in the initiative Koľko lásky 2024, which is organized annually by the NGO Koľko lásky o.z.
    The goal of the initiative is to bring joy and happiness to lonely, unknown seniors in Slovakia with Christmas gifts that they expect from no one.

    Together we will pack and fill the shoe boxes with little things that will warm the hearts of seniors and hopefully put a smile on their faces.

    What to bring – 1 item from each category:

    • something sweet (biscuits, gingerbread, sage candies, grape sugar, DIA biscuits, DIA chocolate, sponge cakes, filled croissants, fruit baby bags, baby food, boxed juice, butter biscuits, wreaths, jam, soft dried fruit)
    • something salty (salty biscuits, bars, pretzels, corn crisps, crackers)
    • something fragrant (shower gel, shampoo, liquid soap, wet wipes, body lotion, spray, hand cream, foot cream, face cream, balm for lips, toothpaste, parfume)

    For a small contribution, we will provide: boxes, wrapping paper, something warm, something soft, something for fun and something from the heart – we will have ready postcards that you can color and write a nice message to grandma or grandpa.

    We will then hand over the boxes to our contact person.

    Coffee, tea, cookies and good mood will be ready for you, too.

    So come, we’ll be here from 17:00 to 20:00.

    Participation fee which will be used for buying material: 5 EUR per 1 box (you can pay the contribution to our account SK2611000000002667455125, please write Krabicky in the note)
