What INEX is

INEX Slovakia (INternational EXchanges) is a civic association. It helps young people in their personal development through international volunteering, trainings for leaders of multicultural groups, informing about the benefits of volunteering and its development in Slovakia and abroad. It is the only organisation of its kind in Slovakia since 1993.

Reviews

I have been through this organization twice on workcamps abroad (Italy, Japan) and I have to appreciate the great approach of the sending organization. They helped and advised me whenever needed. For me unfortunately a bit out of hand in terms of being able to attend events during the year, otherwise I would come here more often. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to try volunteering abroad but also in Slovakia.

A great non-profit organisation that sends volunteers of all ages to projects abroad and in Slovakia. Very nice girls in the office, willing to help, advise and answer every question. I went to France and Estonia through them and also to a few projects in Slovakia - great experience and experiences, I recommend them to anyone who wants a change from everyday life or "classic" holidays.

  • What activities can I participate in through INEX?

    You can take part in volunteering and educational activities in Slovakia.

  • Why to take part in international volunteering activities and trainings?

    Helping others also means helping ourselves. As a volunteer or participant, you will communicate in a foreign language, meet people from all over the world, become more independent, confident and enriched by unforgettable experiences and friendships. Read experiences from our volunteers.

  • Is it safe to join INEX activities?

    We have been in Slovakia since 1993. We are members of the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations, Youth Council of Slovakia and partners of Service Civil International. It is therefore safe to join our activities.
    We care about the quality of our projects and the reliability of our partners.

    • European Solidarity Corps, ESC at INEX (11 months February – December)

  • Will I make money on the project?

    All projects and events organized by INEX Slovakia and our partner organizations are organized within the philosophy of volunteering, i.e. workcamps and other projects as (ESC, …) are organized within the framework of volunteer help, whether social or physical.

    This means that the participants do not earn money, but the experience, knowledge, contacts with new people, cultures, experiences and the feeling of satisfaction of having done a “job” is much more than money. Accommodation and food are provided.

  • I am not yet 18 years old. What can I participate in?

    Follow the age limits for each project. You can participate in our one-day volunteering activities, one-day educational activities and Academy of Leadership.

    We will need a signed original application form from your legal guardian (parent), and parental authorisation.
